notified us on 25 August 2011 pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the

On 24 August 2011, BlackRock, Inc. exceeded the threshold of 3 % of the
voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d.
Saale, Germany. On that date, BlackRock, Inc. held 3.08 % of the voting
rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 4,251,242 voting rights. All of
these voting rights are attributed to BlackRock, Inc. pursuant to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
On 24 August 2011, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. exceeded the threshold of 3 %
of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad
Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. held
3.08% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 4,251,242
voting rights. All of these voting rights are attributed to BlackRock
Holdco 2 pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent.
2 WpHG.
On 24 August 2011, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. exceeded the
threshold of 3 % of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, BlackRock Financial
Management, Inc. held 3.08% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG
arising from 4,251,242 voting rights. All of these voting rights are
attributed to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. pursuant to sec. 22
