Notification according to section 26 para. 1 WpHG

UBS AG, Zürich, Switzerland, notified us pursuant to Section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

On 16 May 2012, UBS AG fell below the threshold of 3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, UBS AG held 0.90% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 1,249,142 voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion of 0.52% (equals 717,486 voting rights) is attributed to UBS AG pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.
