FIL Investments International and FIL Investment Management Limited, Hildenborough, Kent, Great Britain and FIL Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, has informed us on 11 August 2008 pursuant to Section 21 (1) WpHG that its respectively share of the total voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a.d. Saale, Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3 % on 8 August 2008 and now amounts respectively to 3.06 % (3,176,130 voting rights).

The percentage of voting rights of FIL Investment Management Limited, Hildenborough, Kent, Great Britain amounted to 3.06 % (3,176,130 voting rights). These voting rights are in their entirely attributable to FIL Investment Management Limited, Hildenborough, Kent, Great Britain, pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 WpHG in connection with § 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG.

The percentage of voting rights of FIL Investments International, Hildenborough, Kent, Great Britain and FIL Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, amounted to 3.06 % (3,176,130 voting rights). These voting rights are in their entirely attributable to FIL Investments International, Hildenborough, Kent, Great Britain and FIL Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 WpHG.
