Artio Global Holdings LLC, New York, USA, has informed us on 04 July 2008 pursuant to Section 21 (1) WpHG that its share of the total voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a.d.Saale, Germany, exceeded the threshold of 3 % on 27 June 2008 and now amounts to 4.12 % (4,270,366 voting rights).

The percentage of voting rights of Artio Global Holdings LLC amounted to 4.12 % (4,270,366 voting rights).These voting rights are in their entirely attributable to Artio Global Holdings LLC pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 WpHG in connection with § 22 para. 1 sent. 2 WpHG.
