Junior executive training and development at RHÖN-KLINIKUM Group
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG has enjoyed continuous growth over the past years - this explains our considerable demand for executive talent. We’re set to grow further, and that’s why we have initiated a comprehensive junior executive programme whose concept is best characterised with the idea of “learning by doing” or “training on the job”.
The core elements of this programme are:
- A two-month practical course in nursing (of which 1 month normal ward, 1 month intensive care unit)
- A two-month training in electronic data processing and medical technology
- A six-month training in personnel management (payroll accounting, personnel affairs)
- A four-month training in patient accounts (accounting of services rendered)
- A four-month training in materials management
- A six-month training in finances and accounting

Following these trainings, our prospective managers will be entrusted with executive functions in varying positions at the regional or departmental level for a period of 2 to 4 years. Subject to their capabilities, they will then be eligible for general management functions.
We expect of our prospective junior executive staff a high degree of flexibility and mobility, since already our training programme requires readiness for working at several (at least two) RHÖN-KLINIKUM locations. The programme is particularly suitable for graduates from universities or technical colleges with a degree in business arts, economics or law.
