RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG is currently present with 46 hospitals at 35 sites in nine federal states (Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Brandenburg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North-Rhine Westphalia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia) with a total of about 15,00. beds / places.
With the exception of Soteria Klinik Leipzig, a centre for the treatment of addictive diseases, no new acquisitions have been made in the area of rehabilitation during the past decade. During that period, the Group has markedly increased the emphasis on the acute hospital sector.
The Group’s acute hospitals cover all care levels : from general (basic/standard) care to specialised hospitals, from major regional centres offering various medical specialties to maximum care hospitals, including one university hospital. The combined service spectre of our facilities comprises nearly all medical disciplines. Depending on each individual hospital’s size and mandate, there is a number of sub-specialisations covering defined medical areas within the various disciplines.
